Radial 3.0: The Biggest Update Yet
Today we are releasing Radial 3.0, the biggest update to Radial since it launched. This release touches nearly every part of the app: a full redesign of the user interface, a rethought menu system, and a set of powerful new features that make Radial faster and more capable than ever.
Here is everything that is new.
Redesigned User Interface
The entire app has been redesigned from the ground up. Every screen is cleaner, more consistent, and more intuitive. Whether you are setting up your first menu or building a complex macro, the new interface gets out of your way and lets you focus on what you are doing.
One Unified Menu
Previously, Radial had five separate menu types, each with its own configuration. In 3.0, all of those have been merged into a single unified menu. You can now combine app launchers, simple keyboard shortcuts, file favorites, and advanced context-aware macros in one place, without having to choose a menu type upfront or switch between them.

Radial User Interface
Window Management
A new window management action has been added, letting you rearrange, minimize, and maximize windows directly from a Radial menu. It works with any app and is a natural fit for users who already rely on Radial for their daily workflow.
Dynamic Variables for Type Text
The Type Text action has been significantly upgraded. You can now insert dynamic variables into your text snippets, including the current date and time, the name of the focused app, and even user-prompted input that appears as a dialog when the shortcut is triggered. This makes Type Text genuinely useful as a snippet system for things like email templates, code boilerplate, and structured notes.
Templates
Getting started with Radial is now much faster. Version 3.0 ships with a set of predefined templates covering common use cases, so you can have a fully configured menu in seconds and customize from there rather than building from scratch.
Custom Shortcut Icons
Shortcut icons are no longer limited to SF Symbols. In 3.0, you can set any shortcut's icon to an app icon, a file or folder icon, or an emoji.
Auto Update
Radial can now update itself automatically in the background. You will no longer need to manually download and install new versions.
Bug Fixes
A number of bugs have been patched across the app to improve stability and the overall experience.
Radial 3.0 is available now. There is a 7-day free trial, and a lifetime license is available for a one-time purchase of €14.99 at radial.appverge.net.
